Biography:
Mathias Bredholt is a composer and an embedded systems engineer. He co-founded the Copenhagen-based company Torso Electronics, where he develops an algorithmic MIDI sequencer for exploring modular-style live improvisation of electronic music. He is currently working on building an embedded platform for using libmapper. The embedded platform will allow for the design of new portable and easy assignable interfaces for musical expression. Mathias has an undergraduate in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. He performs electronic music under the moniker Areal.
