Description:

A Sensor Interface Platform for Raspberry Pi

The PiShield, developed in collaboration with Infusion Systems, is a an open source hardware and software platform for connecting I-CubeX and other analog and digital i2c sensors to the Raspberry Pi.

Since 1997, Infusion Systems have been providing sensing solutions for interactive digital systems applied in artistic and research contexts, and the PiShield is an attempt make available the vast amount of sensing technologies and experience of I-CubeX to the thriving Raspberry Pi community.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign that was concluded in early 2017, the PiShield has been available for purchase directly from the I-CubeX website. There is a community site consisting of publicly available documentation, example applications, and software associated with the PiShield.
